| I loved the way this blankee turned out but
I had a hard time deciding on what to do with the edges. I tried
several overcast stitches but didn't like the look they produced on the
minkee side. I found the perfect blanket binding by accident and it
matched the fabric to a tee. It finished off the edges nicely and
matches the colors in the fabric. I wouldn't go much bigger than
this (it's 24" by 30") since the two layers are not bonded to each other.
The blankee was made for a coworker who is expecting her first baby in mid to late August. The pictures were taken using my DDs new stroller and pack&play. I have more of this color to make one more blankee. I think I can find someone to use it - in a few weeks that is!
